You just upload the picture and it looks for visually similar images that might pop up on dating sites or public social profiles like Instagram. It isn’t perfect—especially if the photo is blurry—but sometimes it’s surprising what pops up. If the photo doesn’t turn up much, you could try other details if you ever get an email or phone number. For me, the small fee was worth the peace of mind.
